This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Richmond is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Richmond follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I wouldn’t normally look for restaurants in this area, but I was visiting someone in the hospital nearby and needed someplace close to eat. I found Mama Le’s online and it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and greeted me quickly. The menu is well organized and thorough. The food came after only a short wait and was so good! They had ample vegetarian options to choose from and all included a detailed description. I ordered the tofu spring rolls for my starter and the tofu with chili and lemon grass for the meal. Both were great, but the chili and lemon grass was super fresh and vibrant. I’ll definitely be back to try their other menu items.

This place the food is ok but a bowl of soup and a tiny plate of plain rice for 30 dollars is insulting. I was going to give 2 stars but when I see a tiny cup of ice tee is 3.59 im posting 1 star. The food taste not the best ever but its fine. The price is un real. Never ever ever will I come back. The price of my lunch was 100% of what should have realistically been.

We come here all the time with our staff and employee for lunch and during hΓ΄m days. Friendly service, comfortable ambiance and great Vietnamese foods. Very kind people. I would recommended their Avocado smoothies and Vietnamese Milk Ice coffee and Salmon Rice and Pho. The broth is fresh. Not too much seasonings. Thank you so much.

Popped in for dinner with the fam on a weekday. Friendly staff took our order right away. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. We ordered the Beef pho with flank, tenerloin, brisket and meatballs and Shaken Beef with white rice. The Shaken beef was buttery, tender and well-seasoned. The beef pho was good but I didn’t like the texture of the meatballs. Next time, I will opt without meatballs. We have so many Vietnamese cafes in the area so I am comparing flavor and portion size to other cafes around Sugar Land and Richmond. I am rating 4 stars because the food and service were solid. Compared to other Viet restaurants in town, their prices are higher. Nonetheless, we will be returning and recommend Mama Le.
